OMEGA this year has introduced quite a few interesting timepieces, such as the James Bond Titanium watch, the Speedmaster Alinghi ceramic watch, Apollo 11 and 13 – OMEGA Seamaster. Now it was time for a new reedition from 1993 which had earned its place in the history of design at OMEGA HQ. It’s none other than the new Seamaster 300M Chronograph.
This watch is a beautiful blend of three different materials: Sedna Gold, Titanium and Tantalum. With its striking new blue/grey ceramic dial and new 9900 calibre OMEGA is raising the bar to new levels. Of course it has the classic and iconic wave patterns on the dial which are laser engraved.
This OMEGA Seamaster is 44mm and of course master chronometer which means its METAS certified (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology). It’s a Numbered Edition watch and is made from grade 2 Titanium the case and the bracelet. It has an 18k Sedna Gold Bezel which the base of the bezel and in the middle of the bracelet links its materials are Tantalum. The diving bezel is made with a unique process which shows the numbers raised. It’s a chronograph watch with a date at six o’clock position.
Turning the watch you can see at the back the OMEGA Seahorse which is also laser engraved. The transparent case back allows you to see the beautiful in-house movement. The watch is 30bar (300m) water tested. Since it’s a numbered edition it also comes with a special box to commemorate the amazing return of this timepiece from the past. OMEGA never stops to amaze us!
